She was walking when a car ran past right in front of her.
Anna was listening to music when someone approached her.
Harry was studying when Ron walked into the room.
While John was studying, Jack was playing the guitar.
While Jorge was playing, Fred was talking to someone.
While the woman was cleaning, her kids were making a mess.
Jennifer was exercising, now she's watching TV.
Phineas was doing his homework, but he got tired.
Lilly was at the mall, now she's at home.
Observe a tabela abaixo para compreender a estrutura do Present Progressive.

I was | I was walking |
You were | You were waiting |
He/she was | He was singing, she was dancing |
